Well, where do I begin?! I can not believe it has been almost a year since I blogged. I have so many times wanted to blog and just never get around to it.
I miss it!!
So much has happen. Where do I begin. First I want to say that I am going to start blogging again; that is a promise. I have had many people ask.
I still research Chiari as much as I can. I have reached out to some local people that have Chiari or a child with Chiari. I want to continue to share our journy with Chiari.
Chiari Malformation is never forgotten in our house. Wesley and Kyra live with it everyday.
A quick update... Kyra is doing pretty good. She started Kindergarten this year and is doing very good in school. She still suffers with her headaches; but in a months time she only has three or four bad ones.
Her yearly MRI will be coming up in Feb. or March 2012. My prayer everyday is that she has not gotten worse. But, only God knows and God will take care of us.
Wesley is a totally different story. This past year has been rough to say the least. Doctor after doctor. Medicine after medicine. He has chronic headaches a lot and they make him really sick. When he has one there is not much he can do, but take medicine and sleep it off. In the upcoming week I will share some new information we have learned that may help with the Chiari and these are somethings we are trying.
Throughout everything we are so blessed. In June we went to Disney World; thanks to the help of my mother who also went. Pictures and a post will come soon :)
So much has happen and I could go on and on. And I will in future post. But, I wanted everyone to know that we are alright.

Girl, it is about time! I have been worried about you! So glad you are back. Hope you all are doing well. Can't wait to hear about what you have learned about Chiari. My two year since surgery just passed. I am doing so well! It is amazing what two years can do tell heal someone with Chiari. So glad your back!
